Guest Artist - Stephanie Stuefer

Stephanie Stuefer, a ceramic artist and teacher, will be demoing on the wheel & speaking about her work on May 12 at 7:00 pm in the ceramics studio.  

Stephanie Stuefer began working in clay at the age of 14 and since that time, she has pursued her
extensive education at 4 different universities and numerous art centers. She received her B.F.A.
in Ceramics from the University of Georgia and her M.F.A. in Ceramics from the University of
Florida. She also studied at the University of Tennessee and Louisiana State University as a postbaccalaureate
student. She has been a resident artist at Red Star Studios in Kansas City, MO,
Glennfalock Pottery in Dunedin, New Zealand, and the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
After teaching ceramics at The Putney School’s Summer Program in 2009, she realized her calling
as an independent school teacher. Stephanie has been teaching ceramics at all levels for 9 years
and this has been her first year as Princeton Day School’s new ceramics teacher.
